ECODATANET
Gaia-X is a European private sector initiative for the creation of an open, federated and interoperable data infrastructure, built on the values of digital sovereignty and data availability, and the promotion of the Data Economy.
PRONET is developing, together with Arsys and Tecnalia , the first data space demonstrator for integrated waste management to comply with European EPR and non-EPR regulations in all regulated flows.
A unified space, which guarantees data sovereignty and where data and transactions interact with all the agents of the integral waste management chain in a secure, standardized, extensible and interoperable way. The first national standard project born from regulatory requirements and aligned with the Smart Cities of the future in which the regulated sector and the public regulatory sector cooperate efficiently exchanging data with the same objective: the sustainability of the productive model and the fulfillment of the European sustainability objectives.
ECODATANET, the federated data space to accelerate the circular economy
A federated infrastructure that facilitates interoperability, data sovereignty and traceability between companies, PROs and administrations, with a unified control and operations layer that centralizes monitoring, reporting and process orchestration.

The transition to the circular economy requires secure data sharing and clear rules. The EPR requires traceability, quality of information and coordination among many actors. EcoDataNet converts dispersed data into simple compliance and coordinated operational decisions from a single “command”.

Pronet, technology to federate data with guarantees
We designed the architecture of the space, the connectors, the governance rules and the onboarding of participants. We defined the operational control tower and use cases (WEEE, industrial and commercial packaging…) to move from the demonstrator to production.
